Fantastic stage design and setup. Looked so great (videos below) with that glass box-like structure that sat in front of a LED screen and lights shooting into it. Very cool. And the band showed very very little rust, a few more gigs and they’ll be absolutely unbeatable once again.

The two new songs are fantastic. Everything Now was met already with cheers and everyone was dancing, singing along, and throwing their hands in the air at the right moments. Those na-na-na-nas are infectious! Creature Comfort is just such a banger. There’s no other word for it. An instant hit for me, can’t wait to get my hands on a studio version of it.

Band dusted off Neon Bible and In the Backseat, which is just brilliant news. Haven’t played Neon Bible for almost a decade and In the Backseat was only played a couple of times on The Suburbs tour and not at on the last one. Windowsill also resurrected at long last and was the sole encore song – appropriately for the times we live in.

Can’t wait for more new and old songs to pop up on the setlists. Have compiled the uploaded videos worth your time (grouped and in order), and will add more as they come in, in a youtube playlist.

Here’s a Periscope stream of the full show.

Lyon next up on Monday.
